Yoga is a manifestation of energy from the source connecting the soul, mind , chakras and the elements of the bodies. Yoga doesn’t need concentration. It is a selfless effort of self transformation.
Yoga is a form of energy which connects universal power through inner strength and stamina. The word Yoga is derived from Sanskrit which means Union and discipline and balances the mind and body.
Yoga is a substitute to medicines. Yoga enhances the beauty of the soul and the power of the mind. Yoga has been importance in everyone’s life since ages. In Yoga transition, transformation happens with one mind and spreads to the inner self. Our body is like a tree which is enriched by the sun, water, air, nature and Yoga. Yoga gives clarity to the mind which is deep-rooted to the family of chakras in our body.
Yoga is not a religion or subject, it is a spirituality connection to the inner self. Rishikesh is the birthplace of the Yoga capital. There are total of 84 asanas.
One of them is the suryanamaskar which constitutes to the Yoga connects the sun and the soul. Yoga has been practiced since ages more than 5000 years ago. It has been started by ancient sage, called as Patanjali.
There are many such subdivision or branches to Yoga. Those are Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Gnana Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga.
The Bhagavad-gita itself has written the first scripture on Yoga. Even Buddhism practiced Yoga.
They say there are five principles of Yoga which are proper relaxation, proper exercise, proper breathing, proper diet, positive thinking and meditation . There are six essential part of Yoga which is postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation, diet, positive thinking. Yoga doesn’t have a limit to any particular age or any type gender, anyone from the new born baby to pregnant women to senior citizens can practice Yoga. Infants from the very time they start crawling, they are actually performing Yoga on their own by themselves . Because they are so used to playing around, the infant doesn’t know they are doing Yoga or not.
Yoga is a universal tool which connects the world together across all nations and countries. Having said that our PM Shri Narendra Modiji started International Yoga day on 21st June every year from 2015. Following that even the president’s and the minister’s from other countries have also participated in International Yoga day and also have made this day part of the calendar.
People from all age groups, practice Yoga from day to day life on regular basis. It is also practiced in schools as part of the curriculum . As Yoga is everything which determines ourselves and balances the body and mind together To achieve yourself, you have to be detached from yourself while performing yoga, as it means that one should be Hollow and empty, and don’t let your mind do the talking, let the yoga asanas perform the actions. Yoga is a light, which once lit will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter your flame. The nature of yoga is to shine the light of awareness into the darkest corners of the body that is why it is called as YOGA.
